Top 2 on Top 100

I just finished viewing the top 2 blogs on ,"Top 100 sober blogs".
The first is an attractive, professionally designed entry from an
English gal with a witty style. The posts resemble entries made in
a high school, "Dear Diary".
While interesting, I cannot grasp any road of recovery from the posts.

The second in line is an artist who posts drawings of the slogans.
Very talented and encouraging, yet there is no individual application
of the words in the blog.

I'm just curious as to what the attraction is to these blogs;
mostly from a recovery point of view.
I do understand the creative nature of both; but there are many
good personal recovery blogs on the list, that don't attract as many readers.

STEP 3 - JESUS CHRIST

STEP 3:
If you give your will to a HIGHER POWER, how could you have the will to continue to control your will?

And if you don’t have the will to control your will, & can’t control your will any longer, then how could you continue to place your will in the care of your HIGHER POWER?

What’s to stop you from accidentally “taking your will back” without meaning to do so?

JESUS CHRIST:
Commitment or surrender of your life to Christ contains the sly concept of a condition attached to SALVATION.

The Bible never makes surrender to God, His laws, or a lifestyle of obedience to Him a condition for receiving His gift of eternal (salvation) ETERNAL LIFE.

SALVATION has only the condition of BELIEVING that the LORD JESUS CHRIST paid for our SINS by His DEATH on the CROSS.

hey, john :) i am penni and am 17 days sober. i find myself floating from blog to blog just to find some kind of connection. i may stop because of the visual appeal, but the words are what keeps me coming back and subscribing through bloglines.

(like yours. i am subscribed so i know when you post.)

i have been blogging for three years but when my addiction(s) really started to surface, i created a different blog for a different, more honest outlet. people who are reading me for basic spiritual entries don't necessarily wish to hear me drop the *f* bomb when i am having a bad day; however, i still have a right side of the brain that integrates pictures, art, or whatever with my words so it is still me.

my recovery blog is in repair if you wish to visit...

Dear Jack,
Most 12 Step BLOGS are moderating their comments, which is fine by me. I would like for all of them to shutdown - they are doing more harm than good. Passing on, Wilson’s “evil message” to an unsuspecting public is incalculable.

I don’t have to MODERATE my comments; one is free to say anything one chooses – on my BLOG.
Most 12 STEP BLOGGERS are CONTROL FREAKS, which is a consequence of attending AA/NA – 12 Step groups.

The BOTTOM LINE for STEPPERS is FEAR. They are TERRIFIED “little children”, who want their MOMMIES/ DADDIES (AA).

In AA, only approved literature is allowed in the meeting. The STEPPERS sit in the meeting & listen to other STEPPERS, confessing their sins.

Slowly (after a period of time) their brains are altered & they talk in a monotone, without any feeling.

Most of them are RAGEAHOLICS & EMOTIONAL COWARDS – terrified of intimacy. Fortunately I was DELIVERED through the saving grace of our LORD JESUS Christ. I stay well clear of AA – the road to HELL.

I, MICKY, AM THE LORD’S LIGHT & SALVATION FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
