I like that I am dependable
I don't like that I get my feelings hurt easily.
I don't like that I can not seem to get my home organized.

2. is there a seniority mentality or a "pecking order"
in any groups you attend?
There are elder statesmen in every group I attend.
There experience can be invaluable.
I don't attend ANY group that does not adhere to the spirit of
rotation in service work. I personally will not take a service
commitment for over 2 years. After 2 years I start feeling
like I "own" the position and that is not healthy for me or the group.

3. is there anyone who should make amends to you?
That's a hard one. I don't feel I can reach into someone's heart and know that.
I try to hang with people who keep their side of the street clean as I try to do also.

4. what is the best aspect of recovery?
Having a relationship with God and seeing the newcomer recover.

5. is it difficult to discuss sobriety with family or friends?
Yes, unless they are in the program also. I find that "normies" don't really
understand the enormous impact that sobriety has had on the "inside" of me.
They can not see and I can not explain the daily miracles that God provides me.

6. do you believe you will have to attend meetings
the rest of your life?
I've never thought of meetings as a "have to". Meetings are a good place to fellowship, and
hear things that help me in my own life decision making, but I don't think of meetings as "recovery"
per say.

7. are you different now, compared to when you stopped drinking?
Night and Day brother..........NIGHT AND DAYPammiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00513814300181006348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-817345361425420071.post-20800555945220874942009-03-13T06:39:00.000-04:002009-03-13T06:39:00.000-04:00like? positive attitude. dislike? stubbornnessof c...like? positive attitude. dislike? stubbornness

of course, aren't there in all?

i remember what i did last night

with some, not all

haven't, woun't, and imo, shouldn't either

oh yes!Shadowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05999801833389058410noreply@blogger.com
