Amanda Bynes Arrested in Midtown Apartment
The life of actress Amanda Bynes seems to be continuing to unravel. Bynes was arrested at her New York Midtown apartment after police smelled marijuana and saw her throw a bong out the window. She was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, police said.

Jack Osbourne: 'Dad Relapsed But Sober Now'
Heavy rock star Ozzy Osbourne has bounced back after a recent relapse, according to his son Jack: "He's sober now but he did have a relapse. At the end of the day, we're alcoholics. That's what we do. He fell off the wagon, but he does what we're taught to do and he got right back on. It's a tough battle."

Former Bachelorette: 'I'm an Alcoholic'
For former Bachelorette star Meredith Phillips, life has not been a made-for-TV fantasy. In a magazine interview, the 39-year-old Phillips revealed her battle with alcoholism. "For years I'd wake up every day feeling like I was hit by a truck," she said.

Kerry Kennedy's DUI Not Dismissed
Apparently, Kerry Kennedy's 90-page motion to dismiss her drugged driving charge did not impress the North Castle Town Court judge. The judge said Kennedy had "cut a wide swath of danger and risk" during her July 13 drive on Interstate 684. Trial is set this fall.

Chief Keef Arrested for Disorderly Conduct
Rapper Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Farrelle Cozart, managed to avoid a drug possession charge at an Atlanta area hotel after guests reported smelling marijuana coming from his room. Instead, the Chicago rap star was charged with disorderly conduct.

Barbara Walters' Daughter Arrested for DUI
Jacqueline Danforth, adopted daughter of Barbara Walters, has been arrested on drunk driving charges. Police said Danforth became so unruly during the arrest that she had to be "taken to the ground" and handcuffed. She was later released on $1,000 bond.

Before checking into her second treatment center in two days, actress Lindsay Lohan claimed in an interview that her 90-day, court-ordered rehab stint was "pointless" because she doesn't have a drug or alcohol problem. She also said she has a prescription for Adderall and Trazodone.

Tiger Woods Gets Intoxicated at Gala
Friends are concerned that golfing great Tiger Woods may be developing a problem after appearing intoxicated at a social event with ski champion Lindsey Vonn. "Lindsey was not happy about Tiger getting so loaded," said one observer. "Even before he stumbled on the stairs at Standard Hotel, Lindsey was urging him to stop boozing."

Cleveland Browns defensive end draft pick Armonty Bryant has been charged with driving under the influence. According to Ada, Oklahoma police, Bryant had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.098 when he was stopped near the East Carolina University stadium where he played in college.

Atlanta Council Woman Charged With DUI
It was business as usual for Atlanta City Council woman Cleta Winslow who attended a budget hearing the day after her DUI arrest. Winslow was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on the wrong side of the road, police said.

Bar-Drinking Mom Leaves 4 Kids in Car
A Long Island woman must have needed a drink badly. Maria Cepparo, 40, parked her vehicle in a fire zone outside a Holbrook bar just after midnight, leaving her 13-year-old autistic son, an 8-year-old son and 6-year-old twin daughters in the unlocked and unheated car. The children are now with a grandmother.

Reese Witherspoon Gets $200 Fine
Jim Toth, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and his wife, actress Reese Witherspoon, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct stemming from her behavior while Toth was being arrested. Toth will perform 40 hours community service and go to DUI school. Witherspoon will pay a $200 fine.

Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Has No License
Actress Lindsay Lohan checked into a Newport Beach facility this week to comply with her court-ordered rehab, reportedly with 270 outfits to wear during her 90-day stay. There may be a glitch, however. The Morningside Recovery center she entered has lost its license to provide drug and alcohol treatment, according to licensing officials.

Jeffrey Wright Arrested for Drunk Driving
"Catching Fire" actor Jeffrey Wright has been arrested for driving while intoxicated. Police said Wright failed a field sobriety test after they stopped him for driving erratically and smelled alcohol coming from his Toyota Tacoma.

'Myrtle Manor' Cast Members Arrested
"Welcome to Myrtle Manor" is a television reality show about life in a trailer park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Three of the cast members were arrested within 3 days: Lindsay Brooke Colbert, 21, for first-offense DUI and Amanda Lee Adams, 26, for suspicion of driving under the influence. A third cast member, Taylor Jonathan Burt, was arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old girl. Welcome to Myrtle Manor.

Kenny Anderson Loses Coaching Job After DUI
Former Georgia Tech and NBA star Kenny Anderson has been fired as a basketball coach at a private school in South Florida after being arrested for drunk driving. It was the 42-year-old's second DUI since being hired at the school in 2011.

Comedian Kevin Hart has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car almost collided with a tanker truck on the 101 Freeway in Southern California. Police said Hart appeared drunk and failed a field sobriety test. He was charged with misdemeanor DUI.

Brewers' Yovani Gallardo Arrested for DUI
Milwaukee Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo has been arrested after a caller reported his erratic driving. Deputies said the pitcher's blood-alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit when he was pulled over for swerving and driving 40 MPH in a 55-MPH zone.

'Honey Badger' Failed 10 LSU Drug Tests
Tyrann Mathieu, known as "Honey Badger" while he was playing football for LSU, said he failed more than 10 drug tests at the university before finally being kicked off the team. Mathieu is coming clean about his previous drug use as he is now trying to get into the National Football League.

Court Rejects Warrantless Blood Tests
The short amount of time that alcohol remains in the system is not emergency enough for police to demand a blood alcohol test without a warrant. That was the ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court in a Missouri DUI case this week. If a suspected drunk driving refuses a breath test, police will have to get a warrant to test his blood.

Crowds to Test New Pot Laws on 4/20
Authorities in Washington and Colorado are bracing for the annual pot-smoking "holiday" this Saturday, April 20. The 420 celebration will be the first after voters in the two states approved the legal use of marijuana for recreational purposes.

Woman Gets 4 Years for Fatal DUI Crash
A Florida woman originally sentenced to 30 months for DUI manslaughter has been re-sentenced to a mandatory four years in prison, after prosecutors appealed the earlier sentence. New York prosecutors are not buying Kerry Kennedy's story that she accidently took a sleeping pill that caused her to be charged with drugged driving. In response to a motion filed by Kennedy's attorney, prosecutors argued that her case should not be dismissed and should proceed like any other first offense.

'Glee' Star Cory Monteith Checks Into Rehab
'Glee' case member Cory Monteith has received the support of friends and fellow cast members after deciding to get help for his addiction. His publicist said the 30-year-old "voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction."

John Clark Gable Denies Driving Drunk
John Clark Gable, son of actor Clark Gable, insists that he "absolutely was not drinking," when he crashed his vehicle into six other parked cars. Gable claims he is seeking medical help to determine why he suddenly passed out before the incident. He was charged with DUI and hit-and-run.

DJ Clue Arrested on Drug Charges
Rap disc jockey and radio personality DJ Clue has been charged with possession of illegal substances and driving on a suspended license. Clue, whose license has been suspended eight times, was arrested after police found drugs in his Range Rover at a 2 a.m. checkpoint.

Alameda Ta'amu Gets Probation For DUI
Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Alameda Ta'amu has been sentenced in connection with a drunk driving incident last year. He will serve four days in a "DUI hotel" and 18 months on probation on charges of fleeing police, aggravated assault while driving drunk, and three counts of aggravated assault, along with 10 misdemeanors including resisting arrest, attempting escape, drunk driving, and failure to obey traffic laws.

Kerry Kennedy, ex-wife of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, has asked a judge to dismiss a drugged driving charge against her because she "accidentally" took a sleeping pill. Kennedy's 99-page motion outlined her work for social justice and includes letters of support from friends and relatives.

Carmine Giovinazzo Pleads Guilty to DUI
Actor Carmine Giovinazzo of the television show "CSI: NY" has taken responsibility for his driving under the influence charge in Scottsdale, Arizona. Giovinazzo entered a guilty plea to DUI and will have to complete an alcohol education program, but he avoided jail time.

'Moonshiners' Actor Arrested for Drinking
Here's a shocker. Steven Ray Tickle, 35, who stars on the television reality show "Moonshiners" has been arrested for public drunkenness. He was busted in the parking lot of a Virginia convenience store with an open container in his hand.

Rick Springfield Arrested Over Previous DUI
