Kurt Angle's DUI Charge Dropped
After viewing the evidence, Virginia Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Michael Fleming decided to drop DUI charges against TNA Impact Wrestling's Kurt Angle and charge him with reckless driving instead. At the time of his September arrest, Angle had a blood-alcohol level of 0.912.

Jani Lane Died of Alcohol Poisoning
Warrant lead singer Jani Lane died as a result of apparent alcohol poisoning, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. The 1980s glam rocker was found dead August 11 in a hotel room in Los Angeles with a half-empty vodka bottle nearby.

Steel Magnolia's Joshua Scott Jones Enters Rehab
The male half of the country singing duo Steel Magnolia, Joshua Scott Jones has entered a treatment center for alcohol and substance abuse. His girlfriend and singing partner Meghan Linsey began playing scheduled tour dates this week without him.

Another Mike Ditka Son Charged With DUI
Driving under the influence charges have been filed against another one of former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka's sons. Mark E. Ditka recently was charged with DUI for the third time, while his older brother Michael P. Ditka recently got his fourth drunk driving charge.

Jordan Schafer Arrested on Drug Charge
A Florida traffic stop resulted in felony marijuana charges against Houston Astros outfielder Jordan Schafer. Police said Schafer pulled his Land Rover with the windows down next to a police cruiser and the officers noticed a strong marijuana smell. Because it was felony possession, police seized the Land Rover.

Green Bay's Johnny Jolly Arrested on Drug Charge
For the third time in three years, Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly has been arrested on drug charges. Jolly was arrested for possession of a compound containing codeine after police saw him throw a bag out of the window of his vehicle.
