emotional maturity can be the most
elusive element of sobriety.
letting go of childish wants and means of
instant gratification can be challenging.
yes, growing up takes time and effort.
as we do, we can become less self-centered
and needy.

ha! now i know why it took as long as it did with me, that resistance to growing up, heee heeee heee.
but, like you i'm sure, i still have a very active child within me, even now... but it's a responsible one!
